Well...

I liked it, however I would recommend increasing the output volume on the voices, as even on my $80 they were pretty quiet, while the background music was just loud enough to overlap it when the volume's turned up.

AuntyBarbra responds:

Yeah, I noticed. I recorded my voice overs during late hours at night, if I was too loud, I would disturb the peace in my household. But even then thats no excuse, I'll do better and try harder to make the voices like a tad louder.

Armor Lock

Its actually what I use, and I'd like to think I use it as a real strategy. Mostly I use it after I kill someone, in case I get stuck, or if I get ambushed, so I don't get assassinated (and maybe even kill them if they're next to me when I release it). I try not to spam it, though it is fun vs ghosts.

About the Flash: It was great, I like seeing animations about games I play, and this definitely has some thought put into it. Loved the shotty camper, and the story was pretty good as well. Bravo.

I liked it

It was fairly good, and this type of "morphy" animation is pretty cool. Just add some length, music, and maybe some color, and you've got a nice animation. Maybe a preloader as well

saintbenzie responds:

Thanks for the review and the advice. I'm still working on the animation but it will be longer and for sure have music at least.

...?

Pretty sure I saw this up here a few days ago, but I'm not one to judge. I know I've seen it, but I cant remember enough about the title to pull up the page and prove it, and I in fact don't remember where I saw it (though it was prolly here), so I'll just say, if you stole it, shameshame, if not, I'm confused. I honestly don't know what rating to put, but since its a good flash, I'll just put what I think of the flash for rating, whether its yours or not.

Siggeman responds:

This is the 2nd time I upload it. The link to the movie got messed up, so I was told by a mod to reupload it.

Not bad

I did like the high number of sprites, and It gave me a future Chrono-trigger-esque feel (which I liked). I did however, find some problems:
-A bit too much white space during some parts. A nice animated background with some fancy text boxes (like mebbe a computer display-like thing) would improve that.
-I WOULD have liked to see the stages break off, revealing the smaller pod, but thats a minor gripe.
-The general saying "LOL" took away from the atmosphere, I think. (Another minor thing) Also, scientist with a rifle? Why? Lack of sprites? (Yet another minor one)
-Space travel = way more than 100mph, thet asteroid and the collision with the ship would have WRECKED his pod with that. I would've accepted a shield before that, tbh.

OVERALL, not a bad animation, I enjoyed it. Most of my issues are minor ones, with the only major one being the white space. And I'll end my comment before I start to ramble too much :D.

7/10

SergerantJoe responds:

Thank you for being honest and posting intelligently.

Sorry about the white space, but the only alternative was an ugly resized background.

And I haven't taken physics yet, so sorry about that.

Just sayin'

C&H is funnier, and the only real reason they make money on the internet, is cause of ads and the books, which actually takes effort, simply having a website brings little to no revenue, so when you make a book, and a fully functioning web site, then ill listen to your opinion, ty.

DylanSparano responds:

yeah I know I have all of their books I just made this in my spare time I suprised it passed judgment. And I am building a website...

Lol

That's great, my cousin was at one point obsessed with sailor moon... I couldn't get into it, but then again, I am a guy.

For those who don't know what sailor moon is: Google it. (If you thought I was going to explain it here, nowai, I have class in an hour.) ((Plus, I don't know all that much anyways))

Review title

Generally, it was pretty good... only a few parts I didn't like, which are to unimportant for me to mention.

One question tho: JohnnyUtah, why was the leftward character's spearhead red at the base (I assume for blood) versus on the edges/tip.

Hello

I have been a big fan of your animations ever since "Unbalanced," which also introduced me to my favorite song ever. For that, I thank you. This video invoked a similar reaction in me, though I do have one issue maybe. The guy's face, while making him seem mentally insane (which, I assume, is the purpose), does detract from the action.

I think that, basically what I'm saying is: I was expecting more of something like Unbalanced, while this is in fact NOT Unbalanced. So, because you fulfilled your own purpose for this video, and did so expertly and flawlessly, I cannot take points off because I was expecting something different.

Of course, I am not trying to say that I dislike this animation, or have lost any respect for you as an animator, I have simply opened my mind more to your expansive styles of animation, which I wasn't expecting, so it has put me at... a sort of loss for words... which, in my case, leads to rambling.

Good Submission

Comments and such

First of all, I really liked the animation style of this (more so the guy than the thing that eventually became the logo). As such, I hope to see more works from you with similar styles.

I must note that the lack of a developed plot takes a lot away from that. While I realize this is an Ad, or something similar, as a Newgrounds entry, it should have a plot.

Thus, for an awesomely animated piece that serves its purpose (with plot as its only real flaw, short films CAN have plot), 8/10

And again, hope to see more of this style sometime :D

Into snowboarding and usually bored. Thus, It takes a bit to impress me. For anyone who cares, I play World of Warcraft, character name Galem on Chromaggus server.
